Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U65622 The Barrow, Cradley, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U65622 The Barrow outside Valley Farm OS Grid Ref: 372043 / 248488. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U65624 Nupend Lane, onto the C1140, onto the U65623 Green Hill and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a pressure relief valve to an existing water service and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 1st February 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
