Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1172 Ledbury Road, Wellington Heath, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1172 Ledbury Road outside Elmtree Cottages OS Grid Ref: 370880 / 239962. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4214 Bromyard Road, onto the C1171 The Burtons, onto the C1157 Church Lane and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 31st January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
