Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1116 Crowells Ash Road, Bromyard Temporary Closure Order 2017 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the A44 to Green Lane OS Grid Ref: 361431/255062 to 361486/254458. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Green Lane onto the A44 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to installation of new water main and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th February 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 6 weeks.
