Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under it's relevant powers, have made the C1135 Snails Bank, Bishops Frome, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road : C1135 Snails Bank from Mayfields Farm to Little Lapp OS Grid Ref: 367247/248245 to 367486/248174. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Hammonds From Road onto the B4214 onto the A4103 onto the C1135 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of new water mains and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 30th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 weeks.
