Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Oxford,Avenue Lane Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 30 January 2017 Coming into force: 6 February 2017 This Order is being introduced because of sewer repair works which are anticipated to take 12 days to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in the whole length of Avenue Lane (behind Tescos). The alternative route for traffic is via Union Street, Cowley Road and Chapel Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.The one-way restriction will be removed to enable essential access only subject to the progress of the works.

This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
The relevant parts of The Oxfordshire County Council (East Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone Waiting Restrictions and Traffic Management) Order 2010 (as amended) will be suspended.
