Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Blewbury - South Street and Bessels Lea Road -Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 16 January 2017 Coming into force: 23 January 2017 This Order is being introduced because of a new mains connection which is anticipated to take 7 weeks to complete.

The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the length of South Street from its junction with Watt's Lane north to Bessels Lea Road and Bessels Lea Road east to its junction with Bridus Way.

Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.

Exemptions are included for police,fire and ambulance services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.

The alternative route for traffic affected bythe closure is via the B40I6 Bessel'sWay, A4 17 London road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner
