Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U80335 Monkmoor Street, Hereford, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U80335 Monkmoor Street from the junction with the U80334 Catherine Street to the junction with the A465 Commerical Road OS Grid Ref: 351331 / 240225. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U80333 Conningsby Street onto the B4359 Widemarsh Street onto the A438 Blue School Street onto the A465 Commercial Road.
U80335 Monkmoor Street, Hereford, Temporary Closure Order 2016
The said closure is required due to accessing an underground structure to provide cabling for a new customer connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 22nd January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
