Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Oxford, Collins Street - No Waiting
Date of Order: 9 January 2017 Coming into force: 16 January 2017
This Order is being introduced because of building development work adjacent to the road and the need of an area for construction & delivery vehicles, which is anticipated to take 15 months to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit waiting by suspending the shared parking bays (three car spaces) in Collins Street on the south side east of Chapel Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
The relevant parts of the Oxfordshire County Council (East Oxford) (Controlled Parking Zone Waiting Restrictions and Traffic Management) Order 2010 will be temporarily suspended for the duration of the works.
