ARGYLL AND BUTE COUNCIL (OLD A82 ROAD, LUSS) (SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 201_
Argylland Bute Councilproposes to make traffic orders introducing various new traffic management measures within the village of Luss. The proposals are as follows:-
1. The extension of the existing 20 mph speed restriction along the old A82.
2. The introduction of a 30 mph speed restriction from south of Pier Road to Luss sports ground and the existing 40mph extending to the south access road to the Trunk Road.
3. The introduction of a restricted parking zone in Pier Road, Church Road and SchoolRoad. Exceptions will apply to permit holders or when parked in signed or marked bays. Various maximum waiting times will apply within bays between 0800 and 2000 hours. On street parking charges will be introduced on Pier Road between the Old A82 and Church Road.
4. The introduction of a no waiting no loading restriction on both sides of the Old A82 extending from its junction with the north access road to the A82 Trunk Road to Luss sports ground. Along this length of road, parking will only be permitted opposite Luss Primary School(east side only), maximum stay 30 minutes no return within 1 hour and in parking places opposite the sports ground at Luss Water, waiting time unrestricted.
