ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS
Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred upon him by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved the following Orders being extended and continuing in force until 31st July 2017. The effect of the Orders is to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following lengths of public footpath:
Footpath No 1 in the Parish of Little Bollington and Footpath No 10 in the Parish of Millington (Order effective from the 24th July 2015)
That length of Public Footpath No. 1 in the Parish of Little Bollington commencing at its junction with Spode Green Lane at OSGR SJ 7348 8562 and running in general directions of south, south east and then east, south east, for a total distance of approx. 48m to its junction with Public Footpath No. 10 in the Parish of Millington at OSGR SJ 7385 8536. That length of Public Footpath No. 10 in the Parish of Millington commencing at its junction with Public Footpath No. 1 in the Parish of Little Bollington at OSGR SJ 7385 8536 and running in a generally east, south easterly direction for a distance of approx. 17m to its junction with an access lane at OSGR SJ 7401 8528.
Footpath No's 6 (part) and 7 in the Parish of Millington (Order effective from the 20th April 2015)
That length of Public Footpath No. 6 in the Parish of Millington commencing at its junction with Public Footpath No. 8 in the Parish of Millington at OSGR SJ 7346 8506 and running in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of approx. 353m to OSGR SJ 7370 8480 and then running in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approx. 55m to its junction with the A556 at OSGR SJ 7375 8479. That length of Public Footpath No. 7 in the Parish of Millington commencing at its junction with Public Footpath No. 8 in the Parish of Millington at OSGR SJ 7347 8480 and running in a generally easterly direction for a distance of approx. 227m to its junction with Public Footpath No. 7 in the Parish of Millington at OSGR SJ 7370 8480.
Footpath No 9 (Part) in the Parish of Rostherne (Order effective from 22nd December 2014)
That length of Public Footpath No. 9 in the Parish of Rostherne commencing at its junction with Yarwood Heath Lane at OSGR SJ 7441 8541 and running for approx. 632m skirting past Yarwood Heath Farm in generally east, north easterly, then east, south easterly, then northerly, then north westerly and then north, north easterly directions to terminate at OSGR SJ 7476 8567 after crossing a footbridge over the M56 slip road.
Footpath No 13 (Part) in the Parish of Rostherne (Order effective from 26th January 2015)
That length of Public Footpath No. 13 in the Parish of Rostherne commencing at its junction with Chester Road (A556) at OSGR SJ 7427 8562 and running in a generally south, south easterly direction along Yarwood Heath Lane for a distance of approx. 25m to its junction with Public Footpath No. 9 in the Parish of Rostherne at OSGR SJ 7441 8541. The closures are necessary to protect the public whilst construction works are undertaken in relation to the A556 Knutsford to Bowdon Improvement Scheme.
