ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

SPRINGFIELD AVENUE LIDGET GREEN BRADFORD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 633) ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable water works proposed to be executed on or near Springfield Avenue, Lidget Green intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Springfield Avenue, Lidget Green from a point outside No 21 Springfield Avenue to a point outside No 27 Springfield Avenue.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Springfield Avenue (unaffected section), Scholemoor Lane, Legrams Avenue, Lidget Avenue and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect between the hours of 09:30 to 15:30 on 16th January 2017 and remain in force until 17th January 2017 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
