Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1105 South Street, Leominster, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1105 South Street from the junction with the C1105 Etnam street to the junction with the B4361 Westbury Street OS Grid Ref: 349613 / 258877. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4361 onto the A44 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the permananent reinstatement of the road surface after earlier remedial work and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
