WORCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL - PUBLIC NOTICE
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) (A438 Hollybush)(Temporary Closure) Order 2017
The Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order to close that part of A438 Hollybush, from its junction with U61403 Hollybush to its junction with the County Boundary in order to facilitate Severn Trent works.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: - A438 Hollybush, A438 (Herefordshire), A449 (Herefordshire), A449 Wells Road, A4104 Little Malvern, A4104 Marlbank Road, B4208 Gloucester Road, B4208 Castlemorton, B4208 Coombe Green, A438 Hollybush and vice versa. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 month: Commencing: 24 January 2017.
(U63206 Albert Road North, Malvern)(Temporary Closure) Order 2016 TheCouncil intend, notless than seven days from the date ofthis Notice, to make an Order to close that part of U63206 Albert Road North, Malvern, from its junction with U63206 Zetland Road to its junction with U63204 Victoria Road in order to facilitate Severn Trentworks.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: - U63206 Zetland Road, U63205 Como Road, U63204 Victoria Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 8 days: Commencing: 23 January 2017.
(U63200 Edith Walk, Malvern)(Temporary Closure & Temporary Suspension of One Way) Order 2017
TheCouncil intend, notless than seven days from the date ofthis Notice, to make an Order to close that part of U63200 Edith Walk, Malvern, from its junction with Church Street for a distance of 60 metres in an easterly direction in order to facilitate signage works using a cherry picker.
The Order will also suspend the one-way traffic restriction on U63200 Edith Walk, Malvern to enable traffic to travel in both directions for the duration of the works. Eastbound Diversion: - Church Street, Graham Road and Edith Walk. Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 night (19:00hrs -05:00hrs): Commencing: 23 January 2017.
(Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2016 [Prohibition of Waiting on A449 Worcester Road, Malvern Link] On 22 December 2016 Worcestershire CountyCouncil made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following length and side of road in Malvern Link:
A449 Worcester Road (south east side) from a point 10.3 metres south west of its junction with Lower Howsell Road for a distance of 36.8 metres in a south westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. The Order will come into operation on 5 Janaury 2017.
A copyofthe Order, relevantmap and StatementofReasons for making the Order may be inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Community Safety and Resilience Manager, The Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern, Worcs., WR14 3AF, and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. The validity ofthe Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise ofthem may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
