Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U65407 Linton Lane, Bromyard, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U65407 Linton Lane outside no 6 OS Grid Ref: 365527 / 254393. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U65405 Tower Hill onto the A44 Bromyard Bypass and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to reconnecting a new water supply and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
