Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U70201 Summer House Pitch, Drybrook Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles outside Rock Wood OS Grid Ref: 362668 / 218750. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via High Church Road onto Hawthorns Road onto Drybrook Road onto Morse Road onto Starve Beech Hill and vice versa. The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
