Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the C1261 from C1234 to Knapp Green, Hoarwithy, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to

temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: C1261 from C1234 to Knapp Green outside Redbrook Farm OS Grid Ref: 354525 / 229081. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1262 onto the A49 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a new water service connection and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
