Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1016 Bromfield Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the Shropshire boundary to outside Brickyard Cottages OS Grid Ref: 344951 / 275327. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4113 onto U92207 Whitton Lane onto Kinton Lane onto the C1014 onto the C1017 and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of 3 inspection chambers and laying polyduct and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 12 days.
