Herefordshire Council Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the U67206 Homend Crescent, Ledbury, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: U67206 Homend Crescent from the junction with U6207 Bank Crescent to the junction with U67005 Knapp Lane OS Grid Ref: 371031 / 238091. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the U6207 Bank Crescent onto the A438 The Homend onto the U67005 Knapp Lane and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to the installation of a stop tap on an existing water service and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 10th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 3 days.
