Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the B4219 from Crumpton Oakes Access to Worcestershire Boundary, Cradley, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: B4219 from Crumpton Oakes Access to Worcestershire Boundary from the junction with the A4103 to the Worcestershire boundary OS Grid Ref: 375471 / 248215. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4103 onto the B4503 Malvern Road/ Newtown Road onto the A449 Worcester Road and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to needing access to Overhead BT structure to provide a new customer service and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 6th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
