Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the B4220 Bromyard Road, Cradley Temporary Closure Order 2016
to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from the junction with the A4103 to the junction with Hook Lane OS Grid Ref: 370274/248838 to 372075/247293. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4103 onto the B4214 onto the A465 onto the A44 onto the B4220 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to the installation of new water mains and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 9th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks.
