DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL WHESSOE ROAD, DARLINGTON (ROAD CLOSURE), ORDER 2016
Darlington Borough Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
WHESSOE ROAD
From the south side of its junction with Burtree Lane southwards for 400metres
Access for residents only
An alternative route will be signed via Burtree Lane, North Road, Longfield Road and vice versa.
The Order is necessary to allow installation of a power cable. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 3rd January 2017, it is anticipated that the closure will be effective for 2weeks.
