THE ELECTRICITY WORKS (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 2000
Further to the notice of an application for consent to construct and operate a wind farm at Lethans, 5km north-east of New Cumnock, East Ayrshire (Central Grid Reference Number 269933, 616999) and for a direction under Section 57 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted, Banks Renewables (Lethans Wind Farm) Ltd (Company Number: 08217768) of Inkerman House, St John's Road, Meadowfield, Durham, DH7 8XL, have again submitted Further Environmental Information (FEI2) to Scottish Ministers supplementing the Lethans Wind Farm Environmental Statement.
Copies of the FEI2 submitted explaining the Company's proposals in more detail are available for inspection during normal office hours at:
Kirkconnel Library, Greystone Avenue, Kelloholm, Sanquhar, DG4 6RA; and,
Cumnock Community Library, Rothesay House, 1 Greenholm Road, Cumnock, KA18 1LH
It can also be viewed at the Scottish Government Library at Victoria Quay, Edinburgh, EH6 6QQ. A copy has been made available to East Ayrshire Council (Planning) for public inspection.
Copies can also be obtained from Banks Renewables at 2nd Floor, Block C, Brandon Gate, Leechlee Road, Hamilton, ML3 6AU (tel: 0844 209 1535 or 0191 378 6100) at a charge of £75 hard copy and £5 on CD. Copies of a short non-technical summary are available free of charge.
Any representations to the application may be submitted via the Energy Consents Unit website at www.energyconsents.scot/Register.aspx or by email to the Scottish Government, Energy Consents Unit mailbox at representations@gov.scot or alternatively by post to the Scottish Government, Energy Consents Unit, 4th Floor, 5 Atlantic Quay, 150 Broomielaw, Glasgow, G2 8LU, identifying the proposal and specifying the grounds for representation.
Written or emailed representations should be dated, clearly stating the name (in block capitals), full return email and postal address of those making representations. Only representations sent by email to the address stipulated will receive acknowledgement.
All representations should be received not later than 31 January 2017, although Ministers may consider representations received after this date.
All previous representations received in relation to this development remain valid.
