Harris Academy Tottenham - Admissions Consultation
The Governing Body of Harris Academy Tottenham is consulting on changes it proposes to introduce for admissions to the Academy from September 2018.
The Academy already uses banded admissions to ensure all abilities are admitted. The proposal is to introduce a priority within each band (after looked after children and siblings) for children of staff at the school who have worked there for over 2 years.
The reason for this change is to recognise the commitment of staff to the School.
The Governing Body is also consulting on the admissions criteria to its sixth form - and is specifying the new GCSE grades required for entry to courses, with changes being implemented to the way GCSEs are graded.
