ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (PEEL WAY, BURY) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along:-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury intend in not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrians from proceeding along:-
Peel Way, Bury - Southerly side footway between John Street and The Rock.
The reason for the proposed order is to facilitate demolition works.
The alternative route will be via John Street and The Rock and vice-versa.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Tuesday 03 January 2017 and shall
remain in force for a period of up to 3 months (although the anticipated duration of
the works is 3 weeks).
