Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the C1110 Pencomber Road, Winslow Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from junction with Panniers Lane to the junction with the C1116 OS Grid Ref: 364483/254214 to 360238/252882. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the C1110 onto the U65206 Green Lane onto the A44 onto Panniers Lane and vice versa. The said closure is required due to new water mains replacement works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 16th January 2017 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 11 weeks.
