Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the U80005 West Street, Hereford Temporary Closure Order
2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles from junction with Aubrey Street to junction with East Street OS Grid Ref: 350899 / 239974. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via Aubrey Street onto King Street onto the A49 onto the A438 Newmarket Street onto Union Street onto Offa Street and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to BT Cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th January
2017 between 21:00hrs and 06:00hrs and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 Night. Any queries in relation to this closure should be directed to
