Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the High Street & Widemarsh Street, Hereford, Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit waiting & loading on The High Street and Widemarsh Street, Hereford.
There are exemptions for Taxis and the purpose of loading / unloading at certain times contained within the Order.
The said restrictions are required to reduce the likelihood of danger from vehicle-pedestrian conflicts in this area over the busy festive period and will come into force on 11th December 2016 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be in force for 5 weeks.
