(Rosetta Road, Peebles) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2016

(Rosetta Road, Peebles) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2016
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 12 December 2016 and is expected to remain in effect until 20 December 2016 between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 each day. The closure is required to carry outworks for a new customer connection.
When the Order comes into effect no person shall permit any vehicle to wait or to be parked along the following roads in Peebles:
(i) Rosetta Road - from a point 20 metres north of George Street to a point 35 metres south of the same junction on both sides of the road;

(ii) George Street-from Rosetta Road eastwards for a distance of 25 metres on both sides of the road;

(iii) Rosetta Road -from a point 20 metres south of Kingsland Square to a point 60 metres north of the same junction on both sides of the road; and

(iv) a One Way Orderwill be put in place on Eliots Park Farm Road in a westerly direction from Rosetta Road to Eliots Park.

The alternative eastbound route will be via Eliots Park and Rosetta Road to the point of the restriction.

(A72 Skirling) (Temporary Closing) Order 2016
The Scottish Borders Council have made the above Order under Section 14(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a
maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 13 December 2016 and is expected to remain in effect until 16 December 2016 between the hours
of 08:30 and 16:30 each day. The closure is required for resurfacing works. When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive, or cause, or permit to be driven any vehicle along the A72 at Skirling.
The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A72, A702, A721 and the A72 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians subjectto minor delays.
