OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, OXFORD) (WAITING AND LOADING
RESTRICTIONS) CONSOLIDATION (VARIATION N0.15*) ORDER 20
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.The proposal will further amendThe Oxfordshire County Council (Various Streets, Oxford) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2009. The order aims to increase safety and improve vehicle movements (including for buses where appropriate) by removing uncontrolled parking. The effect of the order is to introduce Double Yellow Lines (No Waiting at any Time) on the following sections of roads/junctions in 1.) Wood Farm area and 2.) Wolvercote: 1.) Atkyns Road - from its junction with Nuffield Road to the cycle route exit to, and around the bend with Nuffield Road, and Nuffield Road around the bend as it joins Masons Road;
Titup Hall Drive across and into its junctions with Wood Farm Road and Joan Lawrence Place, and
opposite the junction with Wood Farm Road In Wood Farm Road at its junction with Masons Road; in Three Fields Road at its junction with Stubbs Avenue; in Blackstock Close - all along the north side, and along the south side at the junction with Horspath Driftway, and outside the Student accommodation block, and from Territorial Way up to and including the turning head.
2.) Wolvercote, in Godstow Road on both sides (outside Jacobs Inn) from the junction with Mill Road southwards around the "S" bend to near Nos.133 and 135. Documents giving detailed particulars of the proposed order are available for public inspection at County Hall, New Road, Oxford OXI IND from 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and at Headington Library, North Place, OX3 9HY on Monday & Wednesday 9.15am to Ipm;Tuesday & Thursday 9.15am to 7pm; Friday 9.15am to 5pm; Saturday 9am to 4.30pm.
Any objections to the proposal, specifying the grounds on which they are made, and any other representations, should be sent in writing to the Director for Environment and Economy (ref. ADK/12.6.320) at the address given below no later than I3 January 20I7. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
