Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council intends to dispose of land, having an area of approximately 0.85 hectare, which was formerly the route of the railway line, lying between King Edward's Road at the west end and Burnham Road at the east end. The County Council will transfer the land to South Woodham Ferrers Town Council for a nil consideration. The land will continue to be used as public open space for the benefit of the local community.
Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to: Matthew Waldie, Committee Officer, Corporate Law & Assurance, Essex County Council, Room D102, County Hall, Chelmsford CM1 1LX (email: matthew.waldie@essex.gov.uk), from whom a plan showing the actual area in question may be obtained, by no later than Friday 6 January 2017.
