Herefordshire Council Notice of Making
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, under its relevant powers, have made the A465 from Radway Road to Little Lugg River, Eau Withington, Temporary Closure Order 2016 to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the following road: A465 from Radway Road to Little Lugg River at the railway bridge OS Grid Ref: 354502 / 242617. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the A4103 onto the A417 and vice versa.
The said closure is required due to repairs to replace the damaged/missing cheveron's on the bridge and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 17th December 2016 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State), but the works are expected to be completed within 1 night.
