LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 SECTION 123 (2A)

LAND AT WOOLRIDGE PLAYING FIELD AND COLLEGE FIELDS AT PLECKGATE BLACKBURN

Notice is hereby given under Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council intends to dispose by way of long lease of 25 years to East Lancashire Football Development Association the land having an area of 13.5 Acres or thereabouts, at Wooldridge and College Playing Fields off Pleckgate Road. Which consists or forms part of an area of open space for the main purpose of holding football matches.

A plan showing the area of intended disposal can be inspected at the Information Desk at the Town Hall, Blackburn, Monday to Friday inclusive between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.00pm (excluding Bank Holidays.)

Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to: Mr David Fairclough, Director of HR, Legal and Corporate Services, Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Town Hall, Blackburn, BB1 7DY by no later than 15* December 2016.
