Severn Trent Water has applied to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for consent under section 38 of the Commons Act 2006 to carry out restricted works on Henley Common. The Planning Inspectorate will decide the application on behalf of the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
The proposed works are the replacement of approximately 332 metres of existing water pipeline on Henley Common, to include the digging of pits or trenches, the short term use of temporary fencing and full reinstatement. The works will be located along two tracks located in the common. Location of the replacement pipeline is marked with a red line on the attached notice plan.
A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Acton Scott Village Hall, Henley Lane, Acton Scott, SY6 6QQ until 28th December 2016.
