THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BREAKSPEARE CLOSE, WATFORD) ORDER 2016
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Breakspeare Close, Watford from its junction with St Georges Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 20 metres ("the Road").
The alternative route will be via St Georges Road, Gammons Lane and Longspring.
The Order is needed because the replacement of an existing
guard rail is proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 30
November 2016 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the
restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times
indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County
Hall, Hertford between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm
(excluding weekends, bank and public holidays).

An alternative route will be via Quickley Lane, Hillside Road, Shire Lane, Heronsgate Road and Quickley Lane.
The Order is needed because gas connection works are
proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on
28 November 2016 for a period of up to 18 months. However
the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times
indicated by signs on or near the Road.
A copy of the Order may be inspected free of charge at County

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety propose to make Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce a new pedestrian / cycle zone, one way traffic with a mandatory contraflow cycle lane and no waiting or loading at any time restrictions in Watford as specified in Schedules 1,2,3 and 4 to this Notice.
Additionally, under the Highways Act 1980 and in accordance with The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999, propose to install a raised speed table in that length of Clarendon
Road, Watford as specified in Schedule 5 to this Notice.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF CHEQUERS LANE, ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER NO.3 2016
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Chequers Lane, Abbots Langley from its junction with East Lane north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with A405 North Orbital Road ("the Road"), a distance of approximately 1230 metres, except for access. An alternative route will be via Chequers Lane, Woodside Road, Horseshoe Lane and A405 (St Albans Road/North
Orbital Road).
The Order is needed because the replacement of existing telegraph poles are proposed to be executed on or near
the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on
30 November 2016 for a period of up to 18 months. However,
the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times
indicated by signs on or near the Road.

THE HERTFORDSHIRE (TEMPORARY CLOSING AND TEMPORARY WAITING RESTRICTIONS IN UPPER HIGHWAY,
ABBOTS LANGLEY) ORDER 2016
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14[1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Upper Highway, Abbots Langley from its junction with Hamilton Road south eastwards to its junction with Hunton Bridge Hill ("the Road"), a distance of approximately
392 metres.
An alternative route will be via Hamilton Road and Hunton
Bridge Hill.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be
executed on or near the Road.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on
1 December 2016 for a period of up to 18 months. However,
the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times
indicated by signs on or near the Road.

north westwards for approximately 46 metres to a point
0.5 metre north east of a point in line with the north east boundary of 16 to 18 Clarendon Road. The raised speed table will be constructed at a height of approximately 60mm above the existing carriageway with on/ off gradients of approximately 1:12.

NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all traffic from using that length of Quickley Lane, Chorleywood from its junction with RendleshamWay south westwards for a distance of approximately 40 metres ("the Road").
