MEMBERS'ALLOWANCES
In accordance with the Local Authority (Members' Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003 the Council has set up an Independent Remuneration Panel to consider the scheme of Allowances for Councillors for 2017/18. The Council will consider a report from the Independent Remuneration Panel at its meeting on 13 December 2016 recommending:
1 The basic allowance to be increased from £4,627 per annum to £4673.
2 That the Special Responsibility Allowances be as follows:

£3,505 (3/4 of basic rate
Chair of Licensing Committee
& Regulatory Services Committee £2,337 (half of basic rate
Chair of Audit Committee
