Temporary Closure of Footpaths BW 35/8 & BW 35/14 TAKE NOTICE that in pursuance of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, and the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 The Secretary of State for Transport in exercise of his powers under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has approved an extension to the above Order for a period of 6 months from 30 November 2016 to 30 May 2017 or until the completion of the works whichever is earlier.
The original Order came into effect on 31 May
2016 and PROHIBITS ALL TRAFFIC from proceeding along Footpath BW 35/8 from the A38 in an easterly direction for 170 metres to the Play Area and Footpath BW 35/14 from Ringstone in a
north easterly direction for 50 metres as there is a danger to the public whilst development is taking place.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route will be available along Ilex Close and Ringstone.
