ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY LANE CLOSURE SEA VIEW ROAD (AT ITS JUNCTION WITH RINGWOOD ROAD) THE POOLE (SEA VIEW ROAD) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2016 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Borough and County of the Town of Poole, the Highway Authority, is satisfied that traffic on the said Road should be prohibited and has made an Order in exercise of its powers under Section 5, 14(1), 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers as detailed above, the effect of this Order is that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to use the left-hand lane from the Sea View Road junction onto Ringwood Road. Emergency Services will be given precise details ofthe closure dates in due course by the Contractor. A diversion will be signed. Emergency vehicles will be accommodated on a one-offbasis. The closure is required for a new gas main. The proposed Order is effective between Monday 28 November 2016 and Friday 9 December 2016. The Order is operative for the period mentioned above but will continue in force for the statutory period of eighteen months if required.

If the works are not completed within the statutory
period the Order may be extended with the approval of
the Secretary of State for Transport.
Anyperson who uses or permits the use ofavehicle in
contravention of the Order will be liable on summary
conviction to a fine not exceeding £400.
