(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2016
NOTICE IS HEREBY given that Wokingham Borough Council as Traffic Authority proposes to make an order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Keephatch Road, Wokingham, between its junctions with Binfield Road and Warren House Road.
The reason for this restriction is to enable highway construction works to be undertaken in safety.
The alternative route for all vehicles affected by the closure above will be via Binfield Road, B3034 Forest Road and Warren House Road or by this route in reverse.
Access to properties located within the boundary of the closure will be maintained where possible.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are lawfully displayed in the road.
The Order will come into operation on the 28th day of November 2016 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is expected that the closure will be undertaken during the hours of 09:30 and 16:30, and it is anticipated that all the works will be completed on the 7th December 2016.
