ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
COLNE ROAD, OAKWORTH, KEIGHLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 609) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of works to water mains proposed to be executed on or near Colne Road, Oakworth intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Colne Road, Oakworth from its junction with Windsor Road to its junction with Mill Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Colne Road (unaffected section) Keighley Road, Slaymaker Lane, Low Bank, Windsor Road and vice versa.
The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th November 2016 and remain in force until 28th November 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary) DATED this 10th day of November 2016
