TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC (NO 610) ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason to enable Yorkshire Water to carry out works to be executed on or near Thornton Road, Ingleby Road and Whetley Lane, Bradford has made the above named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed as follows:-.
Whetley Lane - in the length of Whetley Lane from its junction with Toller Lane to its junction with Thornton Road (southbound direction). Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Whetley Hill, White Abbey Road, Westgate, Godwin Street, Princes Way and Thornton Road.
Thornton Road onto Whetley Lane - no right turn onto Whetley Lane from its junction with Thornton Road.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Thornton Road (unaffected section), Allerton Road, Squire Lane and Duckworth Lane.
Ingleby Road onto Thornton Road - no right turn onto Thornton Road from its junction with Ingleby Road.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Whetley Lane, Toller Lane, Whetley Hill, White Abbey Road, Westgate, Godwin Street, Princes Way, Thornton Road (unaffected section). Thornton Road onto Ingleby Road - no right turn onto Ingleby Road from its junction with Thornton Road.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Thornton Road (unaffected section), Preston Street, Legrams Lane.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to emergency vehicles and vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. The diversions for all remaining traffic will be signposted.
The Order comes into operation on 18th November 2016 and remains in force until 3rd December 2016 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary). DATED this 15th day of November 2016
