Licensing Act 2003 Premises Licence

We Hampshire Cultural Trust hereby give notice that we have applied on 20 October 2016 to Winchester City Council as the Licensing Authority for the Grant of a Premises Licence for the premises known as: City Museum, The Square, Winchester SO23 9ES.

The application is for: Sale of Alcohol

We intend to retail alcohol off the museum's gift shop. The alcohol sold will be limited to ales, wine and spirits that are exclusively produced in Hampshire, as part of our aim to promote and celebrate local produce and theirmakers. Therangewill belimited and formonlyasmallpartof the general gift shop which will include good quality souvenirs, jewelry and fashion accessories, books, locally produce foods such jams, chutneys and honey. The dates and the times the museum and gift shop will operate are as follows: Monday to Saturday: 10:00 -17:00, Sunday: 12:00-17:00

Any person who wishes to submit representations in connection with this application should send their representations in writing to: Head of Legal Services, Winchester City Council, City Offices, Colebrook Street, Winchester SO23 9LJ, to arrive by 22nd November 2016; details of representations received will be forwarded to the applicants to enable them to comment. The representations received and the applicants' comments will be taken into account in determining the application. Relevant representations will be forwarded to the applicant and published on the Council's website.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connectionwithanapplicationand thatpersonisliableonconvictionto a fine not exceeding Level 5 on the Standard Scale.
