Notice is given that Oliver Strong and Penelope Strong has applied to West Dorset District Council for a new premises licence in respect of Strong Orchard, Pineapple Lane, Waytown, Bridport, DT6 5HZ, for distribution of farm made cider for internet sales and for the sale of cider by appointment only or during seasonal open farm days. There is no farm store and cider is not advertised at the farm gate. There is to be no provision of cider for consumption on the premises except on seasonal open orchard event days or during seasonal art exhibitions such as Bridport Open Studios or Dorset Art Weeks every two years in May/June. Times are generally between the hours of 10.00 and 20.00hrs, Monday to Sunday by appointment only.
Any interested party or responsible authority may make representations in writing to, The Licensing Section, West Dorset District Council, 58/60 High West Street, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1UZ within 28 days from the date of this notice. The licensing register and details of this application may be inspected during normal office hours at the above address. It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
