Brandy Stream Improvements
THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT (LAND DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTWORKS) REGULATIONS
The Environment Agency (‘the Agency’) gives notice that it proposes to carry out improvement works to the flood defences on Brandy Stream in Winchester between NGR SU4851028541 and NGR SU4836328520, a distance of 150 metres. The proposed improvement works will involve the following: reinforce bank, introduction of gravels, erection of low fence and reestablishment of bankside growth.
The Agency considers that the improvement works are not likely to have significant effects on the environment and does not intend to prepare an environmental statement in respect of them. A copy of the low risk EIA can be obtained from Romsey between the hours of 9am and 4pm. Please call to make an appointment.
Any person wishing to make representations in relation to the likely environmental effects of the proposed improvement works should do so, in writing, to the address specified below, within 28 days of the date of publication of this notice.
