NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 7 OF SCHEDULE 14 BRAINTREE DISTRICT COUNCIL PARTS OF FOOTPATHS 2, 5 & 42
GREENSTEAD GREEN PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION ORDER 2011 On 28 November 2011, Braintree District Council confirmed the above Order. Footpath 2 Greenstead Green The effect of the Order will be to
divert the length of Footpath 2, Greenstead Green of undefined width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map, commencing from a point approximately 220 metres west of Does Corner, 40
metres south of the River Colne Point A on the Order Map and running in a generally south easterly direction for a distance of 90 metres to finish at a point approximately 150 metres south west of
Does Corner situated on the A1124 Point B on the Order Map and to create a route 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned Point A on the Order Map and running in a generally south
easterly direction for a distance of 70 metres to finish at a point along the A1124 approximately 30 metres north-west of the aforementioned Point B and Point C of the Order Map. Footpath 5
Greenstead Green
The effect of Footpath 5 will be to divert that length of Footpath 5, Greenstead Green of undefined width, shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map, commencing from a point on the southern
side of the A1124 approximately 150 metres south west of Does Corner Point D on the Order Map and continuing in a generally southerly direction for a distance of approximately 95 metres where it
meets the unaffected part of Footpath 4 Point E on the Order Map and to create a route 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned Point E on the Order Map and running in a generally north
westerly direction for a distance of 60 metres to Point F on the Order Map. Footpath 42 Greenstead Green
The effect of Footpath 42 will be to divert that length of Footpath 42 Greenstead Green of undefined width shown by a bold continuous line on the Order Map commencing from a point on the dismantled
railway approximately 210 metres north east of the Box Mill Plantation Point G on the Order Map and running in a generally south-easterly direction for a distance of 70 metres where it continues
unaffected Point H on the Order Map and to create a route 2 metres in width commencing from the aforementioned Point G on the Order Map and running in a generally south westerly direction for a
distance of 40 metres before turning through 90 degrees and continuing in a south easterly direction for a further 60 metres finish at a point along Footpath 5 approximately 20 metres south east of
the aforementioned Point H Point I on the Order Map. A copy of the confirmed Order and Plan may be seen at Braintree District Council, Causeway House, Bocking End, Braintree, Essex CM7 9HB free of
charge between 9a.m and 5p.m. Monday to Friday. Copies of the Order and Plan may be purchased for £2.00 per copy. The Order comes into force on the date on which the Highway Authority certifies
that the terms of article 2 of the Order have been complied with but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground
that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the confirmation of
the order, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which notice is first
published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act. Dated 9 December 2011
