Notice ID:
BOURNEMOUTH LOWER CENTRAL GARDENS TRUST
Co-optees are required for a new charitable trust for the Lower Central gardens in Bournemouth.
This Charitable Trust is being established to strategically manage the Lower Central Gardens Trust for public benefit, working in partnership with Bournemouth Borough Council. The Trust will be
responsible for the protection and enhancement of the Lower Central Gardens which are located in the centre of Bournemouth, linking the beach and Bournemouth centre. These historical gardens were
established in the late nineteenth century for the enjoyment of the public and the Trust is being set up to ensure that this resource is maintained for the future benefit and enjoyment of all
visitors and residents in Bournemouth.
The Trust Board is seeking to recruit members who would compliment the use and nature of this important town centre asset.
We would welcome applications from individuals with an affinity to Bournemouth or the area with relevant experience in one or more of the following areas, horticulture, arts, heritage, business
tourism, or additional skills such as finance and marketing.
All co-optees will be unpaid but expenses will be available. This is a real opportunity to make sure that an important asset to Bournemouth town centre is retained and protected for the benefit and
use of the town and visitors.
