Application to vary a Premises Licence To whom it may concern, take note that I, Abingdon Town Council, give notice that I have applied to Vale of White Horse District Council for a Premises Licence in respect of the Market Place, Abingdon, Oxon and that I have applied to vary the conditions of the licence in respect of Increasing the hours allocated from 10.00-17.00 to 10.00- 22.00; to sell and consume alcohol; to increase the hours for the sale and consumption of alcohol from 8.30am-17.00 to 8.30-22.00 on the basis that evening events would be limited to five per year and supervised by authorised personnel.
Anyone wishing to object to these variations should give notice in writing to The Licensing Officer, White Horse District Council, Licensing Unit, Abbey House, Abingdon, Oxon, 0X14 3JE before 7 February 2012 and where a copy of the application can be inspected between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application, and a person convicted of such an offence will be liable to a fine up to £5000 based on a summary conviction.
