A33 Chineham area- Essential electricity cable installation
We will be carrying out essential electricity works on the highways in the Chineham area from 11 January to 30 March 2012. Areas we will be working in during this period are Great Binfields Road, Wade Road, Daneshill roundabout, Swing Swang Lane, Armstrong Road and Bell Road.
When we are working, it will be necessary to use temporary traffic management, for example traffic lights and/or lane closures. We have already written to all local householders and businesses with full details of where and when we will be working; we have also installed advance warning signs along the highways to advise road users.
As with all streetwork excavations, some disruption is unavoidable and we would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience you may be caused. We will do all we can to minimise the disruption and we will reinstate the road and footway excavations as soon as possible.
