PLANNING AND COMPULSORY PURCHASE ACT 2004 WINCHESTER DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN PART 1 – JOINT CORE STRATEGY PRE-SUBMISSION PUBLICATION (REGULATION 27 NOTICE)
Notice is hereby given that the Council is publishing the Pre-Submission Joint Core Strategy for a 6 week period for representation, in accordance with Regulation 27 of the Town & Country
Planning (Local Development) (England) Regulations 2004 (as amended by the Town & Country Planning (Local Development) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2008 and 2009).
The Winchester District Local Plan Part 1 – Joint Core Strategy, sets out the spatial planning strategy and key strategic allocations up to 2031, covering the whole of the Winchester District
(including that part which is within the South Downs National Park).
A copy of the Joint Core Strategy, supporting documents and information is available to view, download and make representations on at www.winchester.gov.uk/ jointcorestrategy, and is also available
for inspection at:

In addition, local libraries within and adjoining the Winchester District will be supplied with a copy of the Pre-submission documents. Details of library services in Hampshire including opening
times can be found at http://www3.hants.gov.uk/library.htm the period for submission of representations will run from Wednesday 25th January 2012 until 5pm monday 12th march 2012. After this
period, further submissions will be only at the request of the Inspector appointed to carry out an Examination of the document, based on the matters identified for Examination.
Representations may be made electronically, preferably via the online consultation system at www.winchester. gov.uk/jointcorestrategy, or in writing (using the comment form available at the
inspection locations set out above, or from Winchester City Council’s website) sent by post or email to the address below. Guidance notes accompany the document to assist this process.
Representations may also be accompanied by a request to be notified (at an address specified in the representation) when the Joint Core Strategy has been submitted for independent examination; of
the Inspectors Report and of its future adoption.
