Application for a New Club Licence

Notice is given that The Tavern Social Club has applied to West Dorset District Council for a New club licence in respect of The Tavern Social Club, Old Farm Way, Crossways, Dorchester DT2 8TU for regulated entertainment and the provision of alcohol generally between the hours of 10am to midnight Monday to Thursday and 10am to 2am Friday and Saturday. Any interested party or responsible authority may make representations in writing to, The Licensing Section, West Dorset District Council, 58/60 High West Street, Dorchester, Dorset, DT1 1UZ within 28 days from the date of this notice. The licensing register and details of this application may be inspected during normal office hours at the above address.

It is an offence under Section 158 of the Licensing Act 2003 to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale (£5000).
