THE HART DISTRICT COUNCIL (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES & TEMPORARY SUSPENSION TO TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS)
(VARIOUS ROADS HART DISTRICT – MARCH 2012) ORDER 2012
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hart District Council as agents for Hampshire County Council has made an Order on traffic management grounds to allow for works on the highway to be undertaken as follows:
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: those parts of the following roads –
1. B3010 KINGS ROAD, FLEET – Jct with Guildford Road to Jct with Pondtail traffic signals
(For approx. 1 week – diversion via A3013 Fleet Road, A323 Reading Road South, B3013 Reading Road South, C8 Aldershot Road and Norris Hill Road)
2. PONDTAIL ROAD, FLEET – Jct with Pondtail Gardens to Jct with Norris Hill Rd
(For approx. 1 week - diversion via Elms Road and Guildford Road)
3. ROUNTON ROAD, CHURCH CROOKHAM – Jct with Reading Road South to Jct with Ryelaw Road
(For approx. 3 days – diversion via Reading Road South and Ryelaw Road)
4. ROUNTON ROAD, CHURCH CROOKHAM – Jct with Ryelaw Road to Jct with Aldershot Road
(For approx. 3 days – diversion via Ryelaw Road, Reading Road South and Aldershot Road)
Note: closure will extend onto/across Ryelaw Road also.
5. A3013 COVE ROAD, FLEET
(For approx. 1 week – diversion via Ancells Road and B3013 Minley Road)
6. VICARAGE ROAD, BLACKWATER – Jct with Fernhill Road to Jct with B3272 Hawley Road
(For approx. 1 week – diversion via Fernhill Road and B3272 Hawley Road)
7. GREEN LANE, BLACKWATER – Jct with A30 London Road to end of Cul De Sac
(Sunday evenings only – diversion via A30 London Road and Willow Lane, see item no. 12 below)
8. CRICKET HILL LANE, YATELEY – Jct with Vigo Lane to Jct with A30 London Road
(For approx. 5 nights – diversion via Cricket Hill Lane – North, B3272 Reading Road, A30 London Road)
9. A327 MINLEY ROAD, HAWLEY – Jct with A30 London Road to B3013 Minley Road
(For approx. 5 nights – diversion via B3013 Minley Road, A3013 Fleet Road, A323 Reading Road North, and A30 London Road)
10. B3349 READING ROAD/SWALLOWFIELD LINK RD, HECKFIELD – Jct with The Causeway to Jct with A33 Reading Road
(For approx. 1 week nightworking – diversion via The Causeway and A33 Reading Road)
11. BOUNDARY LINK ROAD TO RISELEY (Old A32) – Suspension of access to B3349 Roundabout only
(For approx. 1 week nightworking – diversion via B3349 Swallowfield Link Road)
SUSPENSION OF NO ENTRY ORDER: those parts of the following roads –
1. WILLOW LANE, BLACKWATER – temporary suspension of ‘No Entry’ order from A30 London Road
(Sunday nightworking only in conjunction with Closure of Green Lane – see item 7 above)
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: During the period of any closure, the diversion route will be signed.
Please Note: Closures 1 & 2 will be undertaken at the same time for the resurfacing of the traffic signalled junction at Pondtail Road, Fleet.
PERIOD OF CLOSURE: From 23rd March 2012 FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS or until completion of works, whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding the above it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than the period noted above with the list of roads to be closed). With the exception of any emergency works, all closures will be notified a minimum of 2 weeks in advance and diversion routes will be signed at the time of closure. Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the works is being carried out.
